On November 3, 7 YG members and 12 foreign exchange students went to Korean food cooking center in Jungu. We met at 3 pm in front of Yonsei university, and went there by subway. When we arrived, the ingredients were all set up for us, and the environment was clean. First, we listened to the instructions about making Gangjung, a traditional Korean dessert. We watched the chef make gangjung. She explained in Korean, but there was an English translator by her side, so foreign students were able to understand the instructions easily.
After the instruction was over, we got into pairs and made gangjung ourselves. It was very easy to make gangjung. Everyone had a very memorable time making Korean traditional dessert by their own hands. After we made it, we got to take it home with the boxes provided. It was an extraordinary experience to make gangjung by my own hands.
