Even though fried chicken is not a Korean traditional food, fried chicken with beer is the best beloved food combination in Korea. And Korean enjoy fried chicken with various Korean-style of sauces. We ordered various type of fried chicken for exchange students to experience the various tastes.
At first, we worried about exchange students are not familiar with spicy food. But it was not a big problem for them. All of us enjoyed Korean-style fried chicken and beer. We had dinner for about one and a half hour. During dinner time, we talked about variety of things and through conversation, we felt that we were living in a similar but different culture. Surprisingly , Germany also had a drinking game.
After finishing the meal, we decided to head back home. Because of COVID-19, it is hard to go out to eat or drink in groups. Although it was sad because it was a short time, it was very impressive because it was an opportunity to learn different cultures and share daily life.
