On November 25, 2021, four YG members and
two exchange students went to the “Breakout” escape room arcade, a global
franchise with 12 branches across various countries. Since the arcade had an English
video about the game rule, strategy, characters, etc., exchange students could understand the game
without great difficulty. The group was separated into two to play the game. Each
group chose “Chamber of Hocus” and “ Dreadnought” among various themes.
In the “Chamber of Hocus,” players assume
the role of detective and search for Mr. Hocus, a notorious magician who
commits crimes for fun. In the mysterious and creepy chamber of Mr. Hocus, we
followed the trail of a terrifying magician using various hints left by his
victims.
The hypothetical situation of “Dreadnought” is set in the distant dystopian future. After the catastrophic ice age, only a fraction of the human population survived in a giant arc named Dreadnought. Players take the roles of the experimental subject who are transported to the outside land to find out whether the environment is habitable.
Overall, rooms were difficult to escape,
with a 55% and 35% success rate. However, we managed to escape the room thanks
to the wit, calmness, and logical thinking of each member.

distancing Level 3 measures (social gatherings to 8 people allowed, including 4
fully vaccinated people).
For dinner, we ate Korean pancakes in the “향꽃” restaurant. We had a pleasant time eating and talking about
various topics.
