KMN is a program that can learn cultural and emotional differences by sharing personal interpretations about other cultures. KMN’s advantage is that understanding about other cultures can be achived by watching interesting movies and promoting friendship.
On March 24th, 4 YG members and 1 exchange student met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 5:30 pm. It was regrettable that 3 exchange students were absent due to personal schedules. We took a walk and arrived at party room nearby Sinchon station.
We watched <Midnight Runners> this time. While watching movie, we shared tteokbokki and fried chicken with each other. The movie’s story is that two police college students solve the kidnapping case which they witnessed while having a day out. I think the cultural elements of Korea in the movie helped exchange student to understand Korean culture. After watching the movie, we briefly shared our feelings with each other.
It was a very meaningful program with good people.
On Monday May 22nd, 2023, TS2 went to 명륜진사갈비, a BBQ restaurant in Sinchon. 2 international students from Norway and 5 Korean members ate charcoal-grilled ribs for 2 hours. The meat was tender and really delicious.
