This semester’s first Korean Move Night session was held on September 18, 2018. A total of 9 people, including 4 Yonsei Global members, gathered in Room 027-1, Yeonhee Hall at 7 pm to watch a movie, ‘An Ode to My Father.’
’ After some short introductory comments, the group viewed the film. About halfway into the film, we took a break to have some pizza and fried chicken. While having dinner, we briefly introduced ourselves and commented about the movie. After watching the movie, we shared our opinions about it.
Since ‘An Ode to My Father’ portrays the course of modern Korean history, the exchange students asked a lot of questions about the events and many aspects of the Korean culture depicted in the movie. Sebastian, an exchange student from Germany, commented that it felt good to learn about the country through such movies.
On Monday May 22nd, 2023, TS2 went to 명륜진사갈비, a BBQ restaurant in Sinchon. 2 international students from Norway and 5 Korean members ate charcoal-grilled ribs for 2 hours.
