On May 1st, on a rainy day, we met in front of Yonsei University’s main gate at 2 p.m. There were three YG members and three exchange students.
We briefly introduced ourselves and went to the shooting range near Hongdae station by bus. It rained heavily and the weather was chilly, so we stepped quickly to the shooting range. On the way to the shooting range, we talked about our major, interests, and school life abroad, and got to know each other. After arriving at the shooting range, we heard a brief explanation from the staff. We were able to shoot two kinds of guns, which were pistol and rifle. Each person had a chance to shoot a total of 120 bullets, fifty for pistols and seventy for rifles. Even it was not a real bullet, we could feel much power as the real bullet.
Although most of us were shooting for the first time, our shooting skills developed gradually over time. When the last rifle was fired, all bullets were gathered in the middle. We shared our pride by looking at the record sheet. Even it was only for a short time to shoot, it was a wonderful and valuable experience. We could have a warm experience in chilly weather with good people by joining the program.
On Nov 10th, 11th 2022, Global Day is held at Global Lounge in Yonsei University. The theme of the year was Japan, so any participants can relish the rich culture of Japan.
