On May 2nd 2021, 5 YG members and 3 exchange students met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 2:30pm. We took a bus and arrived at Hanboknam, Hanbok rent shop in Gyeongbokgung. After renting a Hanbok, we took a taxi and arrived at Deoksugung. We took pictures at the front gate of Deoksugung.
In Deoksugung, we walked around the palace and took pictures. We could see Korean traditional buildings at the place, and we could also learn about Daehan Empire history. There was ‘Palace Culture Festival’, we could experience ‘Gojong’s Coffee’ program and have a bottle of coffee.
We took pictures in front of Seokjo-jeon, which is the special building in Deoksugung. Since it had both traditional and modern style of buildings, the palace came to us more attractive. We also took photos at the Deoksugung Doldamgil, which is known for beautiful road in Seoul.
After looking around the palace, we went back to the Hanbok rent shop and returned our Hanbok. We enjoyed wearing Hanbok and it was so fit at the landscape of Deoksugung. It was a very meaningful program with good people.
