On October 3rd 2021, 4 YG members and 3 exchange students met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 12:30pm. We had some lunch in Sinchon and took a bus heading to Gyeongbokgung. After we arrived at the destination we visited the Hanbok rent shop. After renting a Hanbok, we bought tickets and we started touring Gyeongbokgung. We took pictures at the front gate of Gyeongbokgung.
Then we walked around the interior, including Gyeonghoeru, and took more pictures. It was a great chance to look around Korean traditional palaces.
After the tour, we visited Bukchon, where many “Hanoks”, Korean traditional houses, are located. The weather was hot so we grabbed some ice cream.
After touring Bukchon we came back to Gyeongbokgung and returned our Hanbok. Today’s weather was a bit too hot for Hanbok but we had meaningful time with foreign students, making a good memory.
On Monday May 22nd, 2023, TS2 went to 명륜진사갈비, a BBQ restaurant in Sinchon. 2 international students from Norway and 5 Korean members ate charcoal-grilled ribs for 2 hours.
