On March 31st 2022, 3 YG members and 3 exchange students met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 6:00pm. We first went to a restaurant located close to the university and ate Korean braised chicken in spicy soy sauce called Jjimdak. Everyone enjoyed the meal and chattered away happily for a while.
Then, we headed towards the subway station in order to go to Hyehwa-dong where Naksan park is located. We climbed up the hill to get to the park. As we finally arrived at the park, we could see stunning night view of downtown Seoul and the city wall. Since the Seoul city wall was illuminated with hundreds of light, we took pictures standing next to the wall. We stood still and sat on a bench for a while to appreciate the landscape of Seoul and N tower. We also introduced that this park has been used as a famous filming location for many K-dramas because of its beautiful scenery.
After we climbed down the hill, we could see Dongdaemun which is one of the eight gates of Seoul and a landmark in central Seoul. We also went to a café called Jeonggeurida near Dongdaemun. It was a café with a Southeast Asian atmosphere and was decorated like a jungle forest. Most of us tried the signature menu, a fruit drink mixed with coconut and mango.
It was a meaningful and memorable time to meet diverse people who have different cultural backgrounds and introduce the landmark of Seoul to the students.
