On May September 28th, 2022, 2 YG members and 3 exchange students met at the front gate of Yonsei University at 5:10 pm. We took a bus and arrived at Yeouido Han River Park at around 6:20 pm. We rented two duck boats having three people on one boat and two people on the other one. The night scenery of the Han river and the city view across the river were very pleasant to look at. The exchange students took many photos on their boat ride.
After the duck boat experience, we ordered boneless chicken at a nearby BBQ restaurant. We also ordered Youngdabang tteokbokki and had dinner at a picnic table along the Han River. We thoroughly discussed the food before ordering and checked if anyone was allergic to anything. We made sure everyone liked what they were getting for dinner. We spent two hours on the bench eating and sharing each other’s backgrounds and some exciting experiences they had in Korea. It was a great time to learn about each other and give recommendations of some famous tourist attraction sites in Korea.
After eating, we made sure that we cleaned up the area we were using and had a little walk along the river before we took the bus to Sinchon station. Once we arrived at Sinchon station, we said our goodbyes and ended the first leisure sports program. Everyone seemed to have enjoyed their time at Han River. It was a very meaningful time and a great opportunity for all of us.
